Latest episode of The Happy Hour Podcast with Simon Ngo.
In this episode, I wanted to dive deeper into understanding stress in our lives. The good ones and the bad ones. And how they show up differently in our lives including the impact etc.
If you were lucky enough to have tuned into the pilot episode(which was anything than presentable and how I have come a long way since then!), you will remember that the pilot episode was about the three things we could all include our lives, which are sleep, exercise, and meditation.
As in the mantra which I always preach and mentioned in Episode 5with Marie. Sleep is golden. Exercise is ecstasy. Meditation is magic.
First one off the rank, let's talk about sleep. Not just any sleep but good quality sleep.
Let's talk about what sleep does and where does it come in the picture when it comes to stress and talk about the preparation for a good night's sleep. Because sleep is how we deliberately get the mind and body connection into a de-stressing mode. This allows us to rest and restore, so to speak; and to recover, rejuvenate, refresh, and last, but certainly not least, renew.
In Part 2, we will explore about the other two - exercise and meditation. To understand how these two come into the picture when it comes to stress management.
The apps mentioned in the episode were:
"Good Morning" - available on both Apple
"Sleep Cycle" - check it out here, app available on Appleand Android
Happy sleeping and thanks for tuning into this episode.
